Life Way - Projects

Five Years of Love and Concern
(1999 – 2003)

Year 1999 - 2002

Gift Giving
Life Way hold an annual gift giving to selected beneficiaries like street children, abandoned and abused children and senior citizens.

LIFE WAY FOUNDATION’S activities started in July 1999. Its first project was the leukemic children at the Children’s Medical Center, Quezon City. A series of Arts / Play Therapy session with the indigent leukemic children ages 3 months to 17 years old were conducted in coordination with LIFE (Leukemic Indigent Funds Endowment) of the Children’s Medical Center, Banawe, Quezon City.

In October, 1999 the foundation decided to shower their love and concern to the abandoned babies and abused young girls with an organization called Create Responsive Infants by Sharing ( CRIBS ). CRIBS serves as a halfway home for the abandoned babies a well as a refuge where abused young girls begin the process of healing and recovery.

In November 1999 the group thought of giving joy to Indigent Seniors at Golden Acres. Gifts and refreshments were personally handed by members to seniors who preferred to stay in their quarters. The residents of Golden Acres happily participated in singing and gift giving.

In February 2000 and June 2001 the Life Way group decided to visit the children of CRIBS again for gift giving. The young girls of New Beginnings gave Life Way members a thank you card.

In December 2002, Life Way decided to go to Hebron Children’s Home at San Rafael, Bulacan, a center for children in need of education, shelter, physical therapy and rehabilitation, training or financial assistance. Members held a program with games for the children who were overjoyed.
